Rosanne and Jonathan Cerf (Big Bird's Red Book) were following Cerf family tradition when they wrote this book. Jonathan also appeared as the voice of one of the Beetles in a video segment on Sesame Street.

Jeffrey Moss (Oscar's Book) was a contributor to many facets of the Sesame Street TV show and the writer of many of its beloved songs, including I Don't Want to Live on the Moon.

Michael Smollin (The Monster at the End of This Book, Big Bird's Red Book) was the illustrator of numerous children's books--among them many beloved Random House and Sesame Street titles, including Another Monster at the End of This Book.
